It is a new episode of Two Idiots and an Expert! Kops and Lee aren’t together, Lee’s voice is raspy (his audio is shaky too) and Kops thinks he sounds like he is using autotune. Lee went to the Catskills, taking his Jeep on the NY Thruway without doors or top – Kops isn’t into it, he doesn't like hot air.
This week’s expert is Joe Rogers, wireless infrastructure professional, cell tower climber technician and project manager. Kops isn’t into climbing (09:44), when he gets to certain heights he thinks about jumping and expects he will land on his feet.
Expert Joe Rogers joins Kops and Lee (14:10) to discuss where he grew up, how he found the wireless industry, his early years, what it is like to climb an 1800’ structure, plus other stories from his 24 year (and counting) career. Joe and the Idiots talk a little about cellular technology and coverage. Joe also talks about living the road warrior life, being away from his family and what it takes to be a good husband and father.
