After a long break Kops and Lee are back with a new episode!

Happy one year anniversary of the Two Idiots and An Expert podcast – 38 episodes, over 6500 downloads, and not one person angry at the boys! Kops and Lee are still having fun recording the pod and are excited about their future episodes.

Experts Hailey, Lisa and Steven Kops join Lee (14:54) to talk about Hailey’s journey; in September Hailey with her partner, Evgeni Krasnopolski qualified in Pairs Skating with the Israeli National Team for the 2022 Winter Olympics.

In today’s Part 1 of the interview, Hailey and her parents tell Lee about the early years, competing since she was 12 years old, joining the Israel National Team and what it takes to do Pairs Skating. Hailey breaks down the elements in Pairs Skating, her injuries and the mental stress that come along with competing at a high level. Hailey, Lisa and Steven go into detail about Hailey competing as an Observant Jew, her decision to retire in early 2019 & thought process and then Hailey’s come back in June 2021 with a new partner.
